During the design phase of a
project the long-term maintenance costs of a landscape are typically not a major concern. However, understanding the decisions made in
the landscape design can greatly affect the yearly maintenance cost of a facility. With our unique perspective and knowledge of
ecological landscapes, we are able to work with the client to determine what alternatives to traditional lawn

and landscape will be
beneficial, and develop a plan that will require less maintenance and financial commitment. We have performed reviews of landscape plans
for architectural firms to determine whether the selected plant material will perform well with minimal maintenance and determine whether
the plant material will help achieve credits through the LEED rating system.
